About Battle Of The Windmill

Climb into an 1830's stone windmill, which was built on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, just east of Prescott.

The site was the scene of an 1838 battle between 200 Americans sympathetic to political reform in Canada and local Canadian militia and British soldiers.
